Kaleidescope Box!

I wanted to make this box, but didn't have any 12x12 solid cardstock so I used a sheet of Kaleidescope DSP instead! Had no idea what I was going to do with it, but started working on it and it just kept coming together!

I used several different patterns from the DSP throughout the entire box and it came out so cute!

Supplies:

Kaleidescope DSP
Pink Passion Cardstock
Large Heart punch
Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder

Happy Moments For You!

Was looking for ideas for a workshop I was putting together and I saw this card online made by a lady named Julie, a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, and loved it.

I didn't want to copy it exactly so I tweaked it (with some help from my design team, :) thanks!) and came up with this version!

I used Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Whisper White cardstock, Soft Subtles Brads, the Word Window Punch, the new Scallop Trim Border Punch and stamps from the Happy Moments stamp set that I acquired through Sale-a-Bration! I colored in the packages with the Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery and Barely Banana Stampin' Write Markers.

Priceless Trains!

Came up with a CAS (Clean and Simple) card for a young boy using the "Choo Choo" set from SU!

For the train cars on the outside I used Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Green Galore and Only Orange. On the inside I used Going Gray for the train cars and Basic Black for the So Kind. The Priceless stamp and So Kind stamp come from the "Priceless" set.

Was super quick and easy and fun too!

First Stampin' UP! Event Swap

I just attended my first SU! event ever at the beginning of this month! There was a Half Day Regional where I live so I had to go! I had such a great time, met some cool people and learned A LOT!

I had never made swaps before, so it was an interesting ride on the road to get those figured out. I had a basic idea, and then the most wonderful person helped me improve on it and it turned out so much better than I had planned!

Here is the original idea:

First Blog! First Post! First Easel Card!

There's a first time for everything...

I have never had a blog before, I haven't needed one! Until now! Became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator back in August of this last year, 2009.

So here is an easel card that I came up with this morning and absolutely love it!
