My Convention Swaps!

Hey there!

It’s Stampin’ Time! (For those of you who went to Convention, you know that I was giggling to myself as I wrote that)

One of the most fun parts of going to the Stampin’ Up! Convention, is the swapping!

Everyone who desires to do so, makes a whole bunch of cards to ‘swap’ at convention! It is a great way to get ideas that you never would have thought of all by yourself!

Being a stay at home mom, you would think that I have a bunch of time to design, and work on swaps, but that just isn’t the case! I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old and my days are devoted to them!

The only time I really had time to work on them was at night, and I procrastinated probably a little too long, so the last 4 nights before Convention, I was up way too late trying to get them done.

They aren’t the most gorgeous cards ever, but everyone that I swapped with, seemed to like them. =) I seemed to take a more masculine road for my swaps this year, and it seems to have been a hit!

My Convention 2012 Experience!!

One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the opportunity to go to the annual Convention in Salt Lake City, UT!

I just got back from said Convention on Sunday night. The Convention was from Thursday to Saturday. We flew in on Wednesday so we could check-in to our hotel and get our convention goodies from the Convention Center!

This was the view from our hotel room on the 9th floor of the Marriot City Center, gorgeous view of the mountains!:

While we were picking up our gorgeous Summer Starfruit bags:

(They held our stamp sets for Make & Takes, a glue stick, a lanyard for our nametag, a beautiful pen, amazing workbook, and a free Catalog and Holiday Catalog!)

we decided to go on the Home Office tour in Riverton, UT. We hopped on a bus with a bunch of other demonstrators and endured the seemingly forever ride to Riverton. When we got there, there was lots to see! Including this:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were full of classes, swapping (I’ll have a swap post here on Saturday!), absolutely adorable Make & Takes, good food and even better company!

I had a blast at this year’s convention, and learned lots and lots and lots about myself, and how to further my business!

Back From Convention 2012!

Hey everyone!

Just a couple of days ago, I got back from one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken!

I traveled to Salt Lake City with a couple of friends and fellow demonstrators to attend the Stampin' Up! Convention from July 18-21!

Had a fabulous time, ate marvelous food and learned a TON that I can incorporate into my Stampin' Up! business. A good time was definitely had by all!

I made some swaps to take with me to trade with other demonstrators, and as soon as I have a few moments of quiet (they are few and far between with a 6 year old and a 1 year old at home with me all day), I will have 2 brand new blog posts about the 2 different swaps that I took with me to Convention this year.

STAMPIN' UP! HOLIDAY ORDERING DEADLINES...

Stampin' Up! recommends you place your holiday orders by Wednesday, December 14, 2011, by 11:50 PM MT to receive your orders before Christmas.  Delivery times will vary depending on where you live.  If your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays.
