New Wood Mount Cases!!

 

Hey there, all! Such an AWESOME new thing to share with you guys!

Mixed Bunch Thank You Notecards!

Hello everyone! It has been forever since I posted anything that I have stamped and I feel awful about it! I need to get back into the habit of keeping up this blog!

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine informed me that she was out of hand stamped thank you cards and that we should get together to make some! Today it finally happened! She brought her boys over and they played with Ava while we stamped!

Here is what we came up with:

Baby Shower!

Hi all!

I have a friend who is pregnant with her 3rd child and is due in 2-1/2 short weeks! Her best friend threw a small baby shower for her this past Sunday night at Mimi's Cafe.

Here is the gift that I took with me! I stamped the outside of a bag that I had purchased at a craft store, for some one-0f-a-kind wrapping!

She is having a boy and I found the cutest little outfit, complete with this adorable jacket!

To stick with the T-Rex dinosaur theme from the outfit I used the Dinoroar stamp set from the 2012-2013 Catalog to create this card for her!

Everyone thought the outfit and card were so cute! I thought so too! We all had a blast that night, and it’s always nice to see my Holly!

My Convention Swaps!

Hey there!

It’s Stampin’ Time! (For those of you who went to Convention, you know that I was giggling to myself as I wrote that)

One of the most fun parts of going to the Stampin’ Up! Convention, is the swapping!

Everyone who desires to do so, makes a whole bunch of cards to ‘swap’ at convention! It is a great way to get ideas that you never would have thought of all by yourself!

Being a stay at home mom, you would think that I have a bunch of time to design, and work on swaps, but that just isn’t the case! I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old and my days are devoted to them!

The only time I really had time to work on them was at night, and I procrastinated probably a little too long, so the last 4 nights before Convention, I was up way too late trying to get them done.

They aren’t the most gorgeous cards ever, but everyone that I swapped with, seemed to like them. =) I seemed to take a more masculine road for my swaps this year, and it seems to have been a hit!

My Convention 2012 Experience!!

One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the opportunity to go to the annual Convention in Salt Lake City, UT!

I just got back from said Convention on Sunday night. The Convention was from Thursday to Saturday. We flew in on Wednesday so we could check-in to our hotel and get our convention goodies from the Convention Center!

This was the view from our hotel room on the 9th floor of the Marriot City Center, gorgeous view of the mountains!:

While we were picking up our gorgeous Summer Starfruit bags:

(They held our stamp sets for Make & Takes, a glue stick, a lanyard for our nametag, a beautiful pen, amazing workbook, and a free Catalog and Holiday Catalog!)

we decided to go on the Home Office tour in Riverton, UT. We hopped on a bus with a bunch of other demonstrators and endured the seemingly forever ride to Riverton. When we got there, there was lots to see! Including this:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were full of classes, swapping (I’ll have a swap post here on Saturday!), absolutely adorable Make & Takes, good food and even better company!

I had a blast at this year’s convention, and learned lots and lots and lots about myself, and how to further my business!

Back From Convention 2012!

Hey everyone!

Just a couple of days ago, I got back from one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken!

I traveled to Salt Lake City with a couple of friends and fellow demonstrators to attend the Stampin' Up! Convention from July 18-21!

Had a fabulous time, ate marvelous food and learned a TON that I can incorporate into my Stampin' Up! business. A good time was definitely had by all!

I made some swaps to take with me to trade with other demonstrators, and as soon as I have a few moments of quiet (they are few and far between with a 6 year old and a 1 year old at home with me all day), I will have 2 brand new blog posts about the 2 different swaps that I took with me to Convention this year.

STAMPIN' UP! HOLIDAY ORDERING DEADLINES...

Stampin' Up! recommends you place your holiday orders by Wednesday, December 14, 2011, by 11:50 PM MT to receive your orders before Christmas.  Delivery times will vary depending on where you live.  If your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays. All orders received by December 14, 2011, will be picked, packaged, and delivered to our courier in plenty of time to arrive by December 24, 2011.  However, we cannot control delivery times; holiday mail volumes are high, and our delivery services encourage you to ship as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Stitched Stocking Christmas!

Christmas is just around the corner! You know what that means! Christmas card time!

I put together this cute card using the Stitched Stocking stamp set, Contempo Christmas stamp set, Lucky Limeade card stock, and our Red Glimmer Paper!

I used the Simply Scored tool to emboss the lines around the outside at 1/4”. Stamped the middle stocking using Lucky Limeade ink and punched it out using the Stocking Builder punch. I also stamped the stocking pieces using Lucky Limeade ink and punched them out as well.

Punched out 2 stockings of the Red Glimmer paper, and 1 set of stocking pieces. I then used a 1” square punch for the corner pieces also in the red glimmer paper.

Stamped the Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler on the Whisper White. Put dimensionals on the back of the stockings and adhered them to the white card stock and glued everything else down!

Paper: Red Glimmer Paper, Lucky Limeade card stock, Whisper White card stock.

Stamps: Contempo Christmas, Stitched Stockings

Tools: Simply Scored, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 1” square punch, Stocking Builder punch, Tombow Multi-Use Glue.
